The Urgency of Uncovering Actionable Student Insights
Through our work, we’ve found that insights from students are the most important tool institutions can use to drive better decision-making and institutional strategy. Without student perspective and feedback, administrators are flying blind regarding the impact of their programs and what best practices will allow those programs to progress and scale. It quite simply can’t wait.
When able to capture true student voice and actionable insights—through a high-impact practice such as mentorship—increases in student sense of belonging and retention follow. Melt is reduced.

What Students are Saying
This roundtable will focus partly on strategies for capturing actionable student insights and leveraging students' engagement, but we’ll also share some notable trends among students. Our mentorship solution allows us a unique perspective on the most pressing issues students are dealing with in real time.
How Mentorship Provides Impactful Insights on Student Voice
Our innovative mentoring programs highlight the issues that matter most to students and give administrators the human context to act on them effectively. Our partner institutions have seen an average reduction in melt rates of -13.79% and an average effect on retention of +3.84%.
Students aren’t numbers in a spreadsheet, and even the best algorithms don’t know what’s happening inside your students’ heads. Real conversations with trusted and trained peers, intentionally fostered and tracked in our dashboard, can illuminate your students' challenges. Whether it’s housing insecurity, toxic relationships, or low academic self-confidence, students trust their mentors to get the help they need on the problems that matter.
